Description

Assassinations for Free Jazz Quintet is a 3-part dedication to important figures in the global struggle for Black Liberation: Malcolm X, Patrice Lumumba, and Steve Biko. It was performed at Roulette Intermedium in Brooklyn, New York, on February 21, 2022, the 57th anniversary of Malcolm’s assassination. This concert was the final presentation of Roulette Intermedium’s Residency program with Luke Stewart. Conceived and Arranged by Luke Stewart.

All funds raised by this album will go to the Jericho Movement.
